Emma's Cottage Vineyard is located in peaceful Lovedale, the heart of the Hunter Valley wine country. The property is 30 acres of peace and quiet with beautiful gardens and lawns. Fabulous Rose Gardens ending a walking path, complete with rotunda and country dam. Chickens, Geese, Guinea Fowls, Ducks, Cockatoos, Corellas, Parrots and many more birds welcome you to the natural countryside.


Cellar Door


You will find award winning hand crafted premium boutique wines, made by David Hook, at the Cellar Door which are grown on the property. These include, Shiraz, Semillon, Verdelho, Pinot Noir, Merlot and Sparkling white and red. There is also the famous Pirates Treasure Shiraz liquer. The Cellar Door  is open on Saturday 10am until 5pm and Sunday from  11am until 4pm. Groups larger than 8 people and up to 20 people can be arranged by appointment.

All that the Hunter Valley has to offer, including restaurants, wineries, golf, ballooning, olives and spectacular scenery is literally outside your door. Emma's Cottage have two, three and four bedroom individual, self-contained cottages that back right onto our environmentally friendly vineyard. All accommodation is air- conditioned and the cottages have log fires for winter. There is a swimming pool for summer, perfect for a relaxing cool-down after a day of exploring. The Cottages have a really peaceful feel, wide verandahs on ground level which are covered and protected from the West sun and winds, perfect for an afternoon BBQ (gas provided). 


Art Gallery


The art gallery onsite, features works from many local artists, is located in the Cellar Door and is open Saturdays and Sundays.
