Our grapes are 100% estate grown. This means every part of the process is in the hands of our highly experienced and innovative winemakers, Head Winemaker, Alex Finnie and Vineyard Manager, Daniel Maslen.
James Estate spreads across multiple sites in the Hunter Valley and Sydney - our Cellar Door and Bistro on Hermitage in beautiful Pokolbin and Cellar Door and Vineyard in Baerami, with plantings dating back to 1968, as well as Parklea.
The only thing better than great wine is great wine paired with amazing food. So at the Bistro on Hermitage we create delicious, simple, fresh food, with seasonal ingredients sourced from local producers, to bring you an exceptional food and wine experience.
The menu is seasonally driven, but some of the delicious bites you can expect Bistro on Hermitage include mouthwatering local cheese platters, wood fired pizzas, beautiful fresh salads and to die for sweet treats.
We also have the James Estate Guest House on our Pokolbin property, making the James Estate experience unforgettable and rewarding.
