Peace Park is a beautiful community park, with an excellent playground, BBQ facilities and amenities as well as a unique walking trail.

Peace Park Playground is classefied as a Regional Park in the Cessnock local government area.
Peace Park features a Liberty Swing, a swing specially designed for children in wheelchairs.
Parking is available on either side of Cessnock Road, on Varty Park side near Pines Oval and on the playground end of the park. Public toilets including a disabled toilet are available onsite.
Take advantage of the BBQ facilities onsite, and the range of sheltered seating that has been well placed around the park.
Peace park is an excellent way to experience some quiet time in a natural area, surrounded by natural bush, and with lawned open spaces there is plenty to do with the children. Wildlife that can be viewed include many species of native birds, ducks and geese and native tortoises who take advantage of the beautiful ponds.
The Peace Park offers visitors a leisurely walk, which starts on Cessnock Road, with fully paved paths wandering past ponds, open space and playgrounds. A footbridge takes you over the water where ducks pleasantly swim through the channel. A boardwalk passes underneath the main road and the paths emerge on the other side of the road with excellent barbecue and playground facilities.
